Boeing Manufacturing
The event I read was about Boeing and all its safety violations and concerns stemming from jetliner problems, improperly placed holes, defective parts, and loose bolts in the rudder-control system. It has not just been problems recently but they have problems like this going all the way back to the 1970s. Not only were the problems due to safety but there was a record of lying to prosecutors about stealing classified missile documents from the Pentagon and stealing rival's rocket development documents.
My personal opinion on this topic is very negative on this company. One of the reasons is that Boeing manufactures the V-22 Ospery the Navy uses. I talk a lot to the mechanics on the gear and they just keep telling me how unreliable it is. Every month or couple of months you just hear on the news about the V-22 crash that takes the lives of service members because of mechanical failures. There was a crashed V-22 on my base in November of last year taking the lives of 8 people. It just makes me think why is this company still around? In my mind safety should not have shortcuts because those shortcuts you take can cost the lives of innocent people. That's all I have to say about the article.
